From I-15 – Escondido & points south – Allow ~ 20 minutes from freeway:
9th Avenue exit, right (west) and go under the freeway to the 2nd light, then turn left to stay on 9th Ave. Cross Valley Parkway (Home Depot corner) and continue as 9th Ave turns into Hale Ave to Harmony Grove Road (stop sign). Go right and continue to the first light, turn left to stay on Harmony Grove Rd (from here it is about 6 miles to the studio). Continue to the first left past the industrial park and turn left to stay on Harmony Grove Rd. Continue several miles along the creek, through a new development (Harmony Grove Village) past oak trees, avocados, and the Elfin Forest Recreational Area. Just past the Questhaven Road intersection, Harmony Grove Rd makes a sharp right curve as it turns into Elfin Forest Road. Continue up a mellow incline, and just after you pass the Fire Station and crest the top of the hill, start looking for Fortuna del Este on your left. Turn left (it is 7/10th of a mile from here to the studio) and continue through a curve to a fork in the road. Go left (uphill) at the fork, past the group of mailboxes with our number, veer right and keep going. Our driveway is just beyond a white horse fence that is close to the street. The house numbers on our street are not in order, so ignore them and keep going until you see 19828 on the right, on a rock at the top of driveway. As you come down the driveway, the studio will be on your left and you’ll see several parking places above, in front of, and below the studio.
From SR78 – San Marcos Area – Allow ~ 20 minutes from freeway: Twin Oaks Valley Road exit, go south, towards the San Elijo Hills development, up a large hill and down the other side to the town center of San Elijo Hills. Continue to Elfin Forest Road (a one-way street), turn left and stay on Elfin Forest Road for 1.8 miles to Fortuna del Este. Turn right onto Fortuna Del Este (it is 7/10th of a mile from here to the studio) and continue through a curve to a fork in the road. Go left (uphill) at the fork, past the group of mailboxes with our number, veer right and keep going. Our driveway is just beyond a white horse fence that is close to the street. From I-5 – Encinitas Area & points south – Allow ~ 30 minutes from freeway: La Costa Avenue exit, go right (east) several miles to Rancho Santa Fe Road, left (north), to San Elijo Road (at the bottom of a hill – there is a signal and right turn lane). Turn right (east) and continue 1+ miles into the San Elijo Hills development to Elfin Forest Road. Turn right (a one-way street) and stay on Elfin Forest Road for 1.8 miles to Fortuna del Este. Turn right (it is 7/10th of a mile from here to the studio) and continue through a curve to a fork in the road. Turn right (south), go a few miles, cross Rancho Santa Fe Road to San Elijo Road (there is a signal). Turn left (east) and continue ~1 mile into the San Elijo Hills development to Elfin Forest Road. Turn right (a one-way street) and stay on Elfin Forest Road for 1.8 miles to Fortuna del Este.
